Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device such that the position where lateral propping force is received is not limited to a specific position by a pole.SOLUTION: A handrail device, including a handrail structure having a plurality of poles, a handrail built between the plurality of poles, and floor surface press parts provided underneath the poles and pressed against a floor surface, comprises: a ceiling surface press part pressed against a ceiling surface; longitudinal propping force generation means which generates propping force to the ceiling surface and floor surface over from the ceiling surface press part to the floor surface press part; a lateral member 9 extending sideward from at least one of the poles; a wall surface press part 4B which is provided by the lateral member 9 through connection materials 12D and 12E and pressed against a wall surface 30; and lateral propping force generation means 59 and 60 of generating propping force over from the wall surface press part 4B to the lateral member 9.
