Abstract:
To provide an elevating/lowering handrail device that reduces burden relating to seating movement and standing movement of a user, and that allows elevating/lowering in accordance with natural movement of a person.SOLUTION: An elevating/lowering handrail device for supporting seating movement and standing movement of a user comprises a handrail part to grip when the user performs seating movement and standing movement, an elevating/lowering mechanism for arcuately elevating/lowering the handrail part in a forward direction of the user with upper rear end of the handrail part as a center, and a drive part for driving the elevating/lowering mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
