To provide a handrail guide device for a passenger conveyor capable of reducing travelling resistance of a handrail by forming into a shape easy to fit to a handrail of a curve part, and easy to exchange parts and easy to be provided new.

In the handrail guide device for a passenger conveyor having a straight part and the curve part, the curve part 3 is provided with a pair of lock tools 15 fixed to both ends of a curved handrail frame 6, a roller chain 10 stretched along the curved handrail frame 6 by locking each of ends thereof with each of the lock tools 15 and having a link plate, and a roller 7 rotatably supported by the link plate to rotate with travelling of the handrail 4, while being brought in contact with a back surface 4a of the handrail 4.
