Abstract:
To provide a handrail which has various functions imparted thereto, and facilitates replacement and maintenance of functional portions thereof.
The handrail is formed of two or more brackets 1 fixed to a wall surface, and a grip rod 2 held by the brackets 1. Then, a unit mounting portion 3 is installed in a longitudinal end of the grip rod 2, located outside the bracket 1. Further, a functional unit 4 having the various functions, such as lighting equipment and/or communication equipment, is detachably attached to the unit mounting portion 3.
