To connect a handrail in a rotatably adjustable manner by providing a handrail connector for connecting a handrail to a joint and a set screw for connecting the protruding part of the handrail connector to the joint while allowing the axial movement of the handrail.
A joint 1 is formed of a base part 1a and a semispherical part 1b protruded therefrom. A handrail connector 2 is formed of a base part 2a and a protruding part 2b protruded therefrom. The protruding part 2b of the handrail connector 2 is fitted to the base part 1a of the joint 1, and the tip of a set screw 6 is inserted to the protruding part 2b to connect the handrail connector 2 to the joint 1, whereby a handrail bracket is formed. A pair of joints 1 are mutually opposed, and a shaft 5 is inserted to the semispherical parts 1b, so that the joints 1 are regulated rotatably within the range from 90° to 180°. Further, the end parts of handrails 3 are connected to the base parts 2a of the handrail connectors 1, respectively. According to this, the handrails 3 can be easily connected in a rotatably adjustable manner.
