Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail of a passenger conveyor capable of preventing clothes, etc. from being caught by a fastening member although an inner deck and a skirt guard are fastened by the fastening member.SOLUTION: A handrail of a passenger conveyor includes: a handrail panel 16 erected along a travelling path of footsteps 12 that constitute an endless conveyance body for circularly traveling and conveying passengers; an inner deck 22 disposed while overhanging from the lower part of the handrail panel 16 to the footsteps 12 side; a skirt guard 24 erected with a space from the footsteps 12 that has a lateral plate part 24B that is an overlapping part bent so as to overlap, in a planar view, with a lateral plate part 22C whose upper side end part is a side end part of the footsteps 12 of the inner deck 22; a screw 48 that is a fastening member for penetrating the lateral plate part 22C and the lateral plate part 24B in the thickness direction, and fastening the inner deck 22 and the skirt guard 24; and a cover member 52 for covering a head part 48A that is the end part of the screw 48 protruding upward from the lateral plate part 22C and the lateral plate part 24B.
