Title:
HANDRAIL REMOVING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3183839
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a safe and efficient removal work by providing a curve- form grasping part engaged with a curve part, an engaging member having a fulcrum part in the vicinity of the curve part, and an arm part coupled to the engaging part and coupled so that a mounting direction is reversible.
SOLUTION: An engaging member 5 having a curve-form grasping part 6 is coupled to the tip of an arm part 3 of a grip 4 and the two members are fastened against each other by means of two coupling bolts 11 and 12 and nuts 13 and 14 in a manner to be capable of being disassembled. Further, the engaging member 5 and a fulcrum part 7 are disassembled by removing a small screw 9. The curve-form grasping part 6 of the engaging member 5 is engaged with the curve part of the handrail and the fulcrum part 7 is brought into contact with the flat part of the hand rail. When the grip 4 is grasped and the arm part 3 is rotated around the fulcrum part 7, the curve part is dislocated from a handrail frame and the handrail is separated. The position of the fulcrum part 7 is regulated by fastening a small screw 9 after the small screw 9 is removed.
