Abstract:
To easily stop water at a point between a coping and a post reinforcement material of a handrail with a coping, and to ensure water-tightness of the coping.SOLUTION: A handrail 1 with a coping is installed on a handrail installation portion 2. The handrail 1 with the coping comprises: a coping 20 that forms a space 7 between itself and the handrail installation portion 2 and has an insertion portion 22; a post reinforcement material 10 that is attached to the handrail installation portion 2 at the space 7 and protrudes from the coping 20 through the insertion portion 22; a post that is attached to the post reinforcement material 10 protruding from the coping 20; a handrail body that is supported on the post; and a coping receiver 50 that surrounds the post reinforcement material 10 at the space 7 and receives the coping 20. The coping receiver 50 has a spacer 70 and an elastic material 60 that is sandwiched between the coping 20 and the spacer 70, and adheres closely to the coping 20 and the post reinforcement material 10 in an elastically deformed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
