To prevent the occurrence of an accident such as a fall and overturning, to further improve safety, and to prevent even damage to a handrail, without increasing the weight of the handrail by making it impossible to hook a leg on the handrail, by further enhancing safety by preventing the fall of an article by a baseboard, and by simultaneously arranging the baseboard together with the handrail.

This handrail is erected along the edge of a top plate of a working platform. The handrail 11 is composed of columns 12 erected on both ends in the longitudinal direction of the top plate 3, an upper sash bar 13 and the baseboard 14 horizontally installed between these columns 12, and vertical sash bars 15 arranged at a proper interval between the upper sash bar 13 and the baseboard 14.
