Title:
HANDWRITING INPUT DEVICE AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING HANDWRITING INPUT PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000357046
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a handwriting input device for exactly inputting the handwriting data of one stroke at all the time without depending on writer.

When inputting handwriting onto a coordinate input panel 7 with a pen 31, a stroke data storage part 91 time-sequentially collects the coordinate data of hand from the panel 7 and stores that data stream in a stroke data storage area 10 corresponding to respective strokes. When a pen-up state is detected during the handwriting input of one stroke, a period until detecting a just following pen-down state is measured, and when the measured period does not exceed pen-up discrimination time data RT preset to a time setting register 2, it is discriminated the pen-up state detected this time does not show the handwriting input end of one stroke so that processing can be continued for generating/storing the data stream corresponding to the relevant stroke.
