PURPOSE: To obtain the handwriting input touch panel whose writing quality, resolution and insulating property are excellent by assembling both resistance films of the lower electrode and the upper electrode so as to be opposed to each other by interposing a dot spacer between them.

CONSTITUTION: The handwriting input touch panel is provided with the lower electrode 21 in which a dot spacer whose diameter is 20-75 μm, desirably 30-50 μm and whose height is 5-30 μm, desirably 8-20 μm is formed on the surface of a resistance film 25 of a film substrate 24 to which the resistance film 25 and a silver electrode 26 are performed, and the upper electrode 22 in which a resistance film 29 and a silver electrode 30 are performed to a film substrate 28. In such a state, both the resistance films 25, 29 of the lower electrode 21 and the upper electrode 22 are assembled so as to be opposed to each other by interposing the dot spacer 27. In such a way, by controlling arbitrarily the diameter, a pitch and height of the dot spacer 27, the handwriting input touch panel being satisfactory in all points of an insulating property, an input load, a touch load, resolution and a writing quality is obtained.
