Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with all kinds of abutting shapes and also to ensure no leakage of a laser beam.
SOLUTION: In the axial line of a handy torch 1, plural guard members 29, 31 are disposed which are closely adhered to the circumference of the tip end of the handy torch 1 so as to cover a work W to be machined and the tip end of the handy torch 1; each of the guard members 29, 31 is constantly pressed outward with pressing members 33, 35 disposed in the handy torch 1; and also the plural guard members 29, 31 are multiply disposed with an adequate interval in the diameter direction of the handy torch 1. Furthermore, the handy torch 1 is provided with a switch 15 for emitting a laser beam and with an observation window 17 as well as a reflection mirror 21 on the opposite side of the window.
