To provide a hanger for clothes which makes it possible to maintain the whole of a neckband back part, a neckband lateral part and a neckband front part of a jacket, a shirt or the like in a swollen state, which prevents collar portions from being crushed even when many hangers are piled and does not take a large space when it is piled in large numbers, and which enables reduction of transportation cost.
In a hanger for clothes which includes a hook portion 1 and a collar supporting portion 2 provided in continuity to the base end of the hook portion 1 and maintaining the collar shape of the clothes, the collar supporting portion 2 has a pair of right and left neckband lateral part support portions 4 with which the front and back portions near the lateral parts of a neckband of clothes come into contact, and has a neckband back part support portion 5 which is provided in continuity between the inner sides of the neckband lateral part support portions 4 and comes into contact with the neckband back part of the clothes and of which the central part in the width direction is so curved as to project backward from the hook portion 1. The neckband lateral part support portion 4 has forward projection portions 4a with which the front portions near the lateral parts of the neckband of the clothes come into contact and backward projection portions 4b which are formed of the intermediate part in the width direction of the forward projection portions 4a projecting backward and with which the back portions near the lateral parts of the neckband come into contact.
