PURPOSE: To stop a holding device body having a hanger holding section on the upper end of a pillar at a plurality of positions sequentially for sharing a series of works at each stop position by intermittently rotating the holding device body at every preset rotation angle.

CONSTITUTION: After a hanger holding device is actuated with the first foot switch 15A, the second foot switch 15B is operated to rotate a holding device body 3. As a result, one pillar section 5 comes near a switch box 13 and actuates the first switch 14A to decelerate the rotation speed of the body 3. At the same time, the second switch 14B is actuated to stop the rotation of the body 3. Thereafter, the body 3 intermittently rotates and stops at a plurality of positions A to D. In this case, an empty hanger H, for example, sucked to an arm X with a suspension section F directed up is inserted and held in the groove 8 of a holding section 7 in the pillar section 5. A work such as for suspending a laundry S or the like from the empty hanger H is, then, shared at the second stop position B.
