To provide a hanger provided with a folding structure at an arm inserted into a shoulder portion of clothes, the hanger has a simple structure and low production cost.

The folding structure is provided at the arm 1 inserted into the shoulder portion of clothes. The hanger includes spring materials 6 and 7 for resiliently holding the arm 1 being folded, a locking member 5 for locking the arm 1 being deployed, and a link member 3 for guiding the displacement between the folded arm 1 and the deployed arm 1. The arm 1 are cut into half at the center in the longitudinal direction, the cut ends are provided with extension portions 13 and 14 extending vertically in a manner to cross the longitudinal direction, and half portions 11 and 12 of the cut arm turnably connected at the lower ends of the extension portions 13 and 14 by a common rotation shaft 2. The link member 3 is configured such that a pair of linking plates 32 and 33 turnably connected by a support shaft 31, are connected at the upper ends of the extension portions 13 and 14 of the arm 1 by connecting shafts 4 in a manner to be turned relative to the half portions 11 and 12 of the arm 1.
