A hanger is provided with a rod member 12 as a long member roughly perpendicularly provided to stand, a holding part 16 provided under the rod member 12 to hold the rod member 12, and an installation member 22 to lock a hanging planter 24 or the like provided close to a tip of the rod member 12. The rod member 12 has a bent part 18 bend sideway in the middle, and a part of it above the bent part 18 is inclined diagonally upward. A tip part of the rod member has a folded part 20 folded to form an arc-like curvature in the opposite direction to a bent direction of the bent part 18, and the installation part 22 is provided on a tip of the folded part 20. The installation part 22 is positioned roughly above the folded part 18, and a gravity center of the hanging planter 24 suspended by the installation part 22 is applied around the bent part 18.
