To provide a hanging tool having a simple structure, not requiring to form engaging holes at the planting pot side and capable of being simply mounted on a general planting pot of which upper end edge part is bent in its downward direction.

This hanging tool is characterized in its structural point of view by installing fork-shaped legs 6a, 6b at a leg part 6 and engaging claw parts 8a, 8b each facing in their inside direction at the tip parts of the legs 6a, 6b, and it is possible to nip and attach the lower end part of a brim 25 between the leg 6b and the engaging claw part 8a, and also nip and hold the whole part of the brim part 25 between the fork shaped legs 6a, 6b. Also, the tool can be produced extremely easily by especially a plastic molding process, and economically extremely advantageous in a point of fitting to the large amount of the production. An excellent effect e.g. not being entangled like a conventional hanging pot by blown with a strong wind, etc., is obtained.
