PURPOSE: To obtain a hanging tool safe and excellent in workability by providing an arm, having a suspending tool in one end and a balance weight in the other end, in both ends of a supporting member, and maintaining the arm in the lengthwise direction by action of the balance weight in a condition that an article is not suspended.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of arms 13 are mounted turnably with a supporting shaft serving as a supporting point to both end parts of a lengthy supporting member 11, to provide a hook 14 in one end and a balance weight 15 in the other end, of the arm 13. A stopper 22, which is for restricting turning when a long article 10 is not suspended, that is, when the arm 13 is stored in the supporting member 11, is provided in a lower surface in a central part of the supporting member 11. When the long article 10 is suspended, turning of the arm 13 is restricted by a stopper 21, and in the case of not hanging the article, the balance weight 15 is placed in a condition that it is mounted to the stopper 22, so that the arm is placed in a condition that it is stably stored in the lengthwise direction of the supporting member by restricting turning of the arm 13.
