To provide a manufacturing method of a hard coat film having excellent hardness and capable of preventing generation of interference fringes.
In the manufacturing method of the hard coat film 1, a curable resin composition for a hard coat layer 20 including silica fine particles having 10 to 100 nm average particle diameter, a binder component and a non-permeable solvent and having 30 to 70 wt.% content of the silica fine particles to the total solid content is applied on one surface side of a triacetyl cellulose base material and cured to form the hard coat layer. The silica fine particles are reactive silica fine particles having reactive groups having crosslinking reactivity between the fine particles and/or to the binder component.
