PURPOSE: To arrange plural image planes in a lump by determining the size ratio of respective still images and an image plane to be printed on one form corresponding them by a ratio setting means interposed between a display device and a hard copying device and also determining the position of the printed image plane on the form by a position setting means.

CONSTITUTION: A normal CRT display device is provided in front of a hard copy interface device 10 and the hard copying device is provided behind it; and the device 10 consists principally of a video interface circuit 11, an internal memory 12, and a hard copy interface circuit 13. Further, the circuit 13 incorporates a comparison setting part 14, a position setting part 15, and a Centronics interface circuit 16. The comparison setting part 14 is provided with a function for determining the size ratio of sill images displayed on the CRT display device or CRT monitor device and the image plane to be printed on the copy form corresponding to them and the position setting part 15 is provided with a function for determining the print position of the image plane.
