Abstract:

To provide a hard gelatine capsule well fillable with a water-sensitive material having hygroscopicity and water absorptivity, and to provide a method for producing a capsule comprising the hard gelatine capsule filled with the water-sensitive material.

The non-foam hard gelatine capsule is obtained by compounding a polyethylene glycol shown below with gelatine at a ratio shown below, (1) when the polyethylene glycol is polyethylene glycol #4,000, the ratio is 3-15 wt.%, (2) when the polyethylene glycol is polyethylene glycol #6,000, the ratio is 3-10 wt.%, and (3) when the polyethylene glycol is polyethylene glycol #20,000, the ratio is 0.3-5 wt.%.
