Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain hard padding powder for high-frequency welding with which high hardness can be obtained, the control of the sizes and distribution states of hard particles is possible, crack sensitivity is low and good product shapes can be obtained.
SOLUTION: The hard padding powder for high-frequency welding is formed of a composition containing, by weight %, over 3 to 5% C, 1.5 to 3.5% Si, 1 to 3% Mn, 3 to 8% Ni, 25 to 35% Cr, 1 to 4% B, and consisting of the balance substantially Fe.
