Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing agent that has good compatibility and gives it good 2-butanone rubbing resistance, in a polyester coating, and does not cause a poor appearance or peeling even in a boiling test.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition comprising a resin (A) obtained by alcohol-modifying a methylol group of a resol resin composed of 2-methyl phenol and methanal, and a resin (B) obtained by alcohol-modifying a melamine resin, with the (B) component of 1-100 pts.wt to the (A) component of 100 pts.wt. In the composition, with the total of the (A) and (B) components being 100 pts.wt., the content of a polyester resin is 300-900 pts.wt.SELECTED DRAWING: None
