Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin that forms a cured product having enough flexibility to maintain an adhesive state without problems even when a flexible liquid crystal display is bent, and that has low liquid crystal staining properties and less likely influences liquid crystal alignment properties, and a liquid crystal sealing agent composition comprising the above curable resin.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal sealing agent composition comprises a curable resin represented by formula (1). In formula (1), X each independently represents H, a hydroxyl group, a glycidyloxy group or a methylglycidyloxy group; Reach independently represents H or a glycidyl group; ring A each independently represents an aromatic ring or a heteroaromatic ring having in total 5 or more of C and heteroatoms; Y represents an oligo or poly alkyleneoxy group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms or an alkynylene group having 3 to 4 carbon atoms, having a vinyl group or an isopropylene group in a side chain or a double bond in the main chain; and m is an integer of 1 to 7.SELECTED DRAWING: None
