Title:
HARDWARE KEY STORAGE CASE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000322144
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain the hardware storage case which prevents a hardware key from being stolen and takes electromagnetic wave prevention, etc., into account by connecting and fixing the case to a computer peripheral part such as a desk where a computer main body is installed, storing the hardware key, and closing the case.

When a lid part 502 covers and closes the opening part 510 of a box part 501, a locking part 503 is fitted into a hole formed in an engagement part 514 and exposed to the front, so that a lock 9 is engaged. A U-shaped projection part 505 is engaged with a metallic chain 507 engaged with a fixed member 7 fixed to the desk 6. The case 5 storing hardware keys 1a and 1b is connected to the computer main body 12 and a keyboard 11 through a connection cable and is so arranged that it cannot be detached from the desk 6. Consequently, the expensive hardware keys 1a and 1b can effectively be prevented from being stolen. Further, complexity around the computer can be eliminated.
