Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of removing harmful substances and collecting dust, PM, or the like, at the same time.
SOLUTION: This filter is characterized in that a woven textile is made of a silica-group composite oxide fiber, that such fiber is composed of an oxide phase (a first phase) including a silica component as a main constituent and a metal oxide phase (a second phase) other than silica, that the existence ratio of at least one constituent component of the second phase increases in a gradient manner toward the surface layer of the fiber, and that the fiber has an optical and/or thermal function.
