PURPOSE: To improve the appearance of a motor driven car furnished with a switch box in the neighborhood of a handle bar through protecting of the harness arranged along the steering shaft, reduce the costs, decrease the man- hours, and enhance the working effectiveness.

CONSTITUTION: A handle bar 3 is fixed to the top of a steering shaft 2, and a switch box 17 is installed in the neighborhood of the handle bar 3. In this motor-driven car, a harness 7 connected with the switch box 17 is arranged along side the peripheral wall of the steering shaft 2 as stretching in its longitudinal direction, and a cover 18 having a U-section to press the harness 7 is installed alongside the harness 7 and fixed to the steering shaft 2. Thereby the harness 7 is protected with the cover 18, and the appearance is improved. Further clamp is no more needed owing to provision of this cover 18 to permit suppression of the cost.
