PURPOSE: To provide a hazard display device which can be installed in a window of an automobile by using a photo-functional fluid composition based on an electric field arrangement effect, and adjusting a quantity of transmitted light.
CONSTITUTION: A window of an automobile is provided with an electricity sensitive type photo-functional fluid composition 16 containing dielectric particles having an electric field arrangement effect in an electric insulating medium 19 and a hollow housing body 18 which houses this and in which at least mutually opposing parts of opposing two surfaces are made transparent. Display parts 40 and non-display parts 41 in which transparent conductive layers 17 are arranged opposite to each other, are formed at intervals in this housing body 18. The transparent conductive layers 17 of the display parts 40 are formed in the shape of a picture word of the automobile. When an electric current is carried to the display parts and the non-display parts, these can be made transparent, and when an electric current is carried only to the display parts, the picture word can be displayed on the display parts.
