Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of being easily installed and rationally sucking/extracting the gas of contaminants dispersed and remaining in the ground thereby cleaning the contaminants on the ground. SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 2 provided with many air-passable holes 3 is buried in the ground of contaminated soil until it reaches an underground water saturated zone from the ground, and the upper end of the cylindrical body 2 is closed, and a suction pipe 11 is inserted into the body 12 from the ground and is connected to a gas sucking pump 20 connected to a harmful gas purifier 23 installed on the ground. Furthermore, a harmful gas sucking port 17 in the lower part of the suction pipe 11 is provided with a float 15 ascending and descending synchronously with the vertical motion of the surface of the underground water, thus the gas is sucked at all times above the surface of the underground water and sent to the gas purifier 23 on the ground.
