Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use rapidly and reliably a character erasing device by preventing the erroneous operation of a correction film transferring tape feed and take-up mechanism. '
CONSTITUTION: A character erasing device 1 is provided with a main body 2 of the character erasing device, which contains a correction film transferring tape feed and take-up mechanism comprising a feed reel for feeding a correction film transferring tape 3 on the surface of which a correction film is fixed and a take-up reel for taking up the correction film transferring tape 3 after it is used. Further, the character erasing device is provided with a transferring tongue part 4 which guides the correction film trnasferring tape 3 fed from the feed reel outside the main body 2 of the character erasing device and which bends and holds the correction film transferring tape 3 to bring the tape 3 into close contact with a face to be transferred when the correction film is transferred onto the face at the top end 5 of the main body 2.
