Title:
HEAD GEAR FOR PITCHER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001214323
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To fundamentally solve problems that a headgear for pitcher has an insufficiently alleviating action on shock of batted ball without being excessively large and heavy and insufficient air permeability in the inside as a headgear for a pitcher and liners and liable to release from a shell at edge parts.

This headgear for pitcher has lightweight and an adjustable size because the headgear is equipped with an integrated shell (1) covering the head from both sides of the head to back of the head, a right front liner (2), a right rear linear (3), a left front linear (4) and a left rear liner (5) which are laid inside the shell and provided with channels at the upper and lower parts of the back of the head and both sides of the head and a length adjustment type belt (7) is attached to the upper part of the right and left edge parts of the shell (1). Since both sides of the head are provided with differences in level and the section of the upper edge of the shell (1) has an L shape facing inside, the headgear has a sufficiently alleviating action on shock of batted ball and each liner hardly releases from the shell at the edge part.
