Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide improvement in the head of a golf club in which the head includes a main body and an impact-surface inserting member arranged in a recess provided in the front of the main body, and the inserting member is integrally fixed into the recess of the golf club by an adhesive layer lying between the inside surface and bottom of the recess. CONSTITUTION: The head is made to mutually leave a distance by one or a plurality of holding means 60, 61, 62 in which the inside surface and the recess of bottom 40 are made so as to form a stable holding part of the inserting member 2 in the recess 4, and so as to arrange an adhesive having almost constant thickness between the inside surface and the bottom 40 of the recess 4.
