The head lamp 10 for a vehicle is attached to a vehicle body 60 by means of brackets 50A, 50B and 50C extending nearly in the forward and rearward direction of a lamp housing 20 having light sources 41L and 41R. The brackets are provided with a scupper 59 having at least an angle part 59a, between the side edge part of the lamp housing and a vehicle body tightening part 53 (a bolt through-hole).
