Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display control method and a head-mounted display control program capable of reducing a rendering load when providing a three-dimensional virtual space image.SOLUTION: A method for controlling an immersive head-mounted display (HMD) for providing a user with virtual space includes the steps of: generating a virtual space image 22 constituting the virtual space in which the user immerses; determining a reference line of sight; determining a view area 23 where the user visually recognizes out of the virtual space on the basis of the reference line of sight; and generating an area corresponding to the view area 23 out of the virtual space image 22 as a view image 26 with higher image quality than that of the virtual space image 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
