To provide a head-mounted display which is provided with a display element for displaying an image, and in which the image can be photographed in an appropriate imaging state when using the head-mounted display by connecting the same to an imaging device.

The head-mounted display provided with the display element for displaying the image is equipped with a fixing section capable of mounting the imaging device in a prescribed attitude to the display. Also, the fixing section capable of changing the attitude of the imaging device on the basis of the head-mounted display is equally satisfactory. In addition, there may be further provided with a detector for detecting the variation in the attitude of the imaging device. The detector may detect the variation based on the difference between the optical axis in the imaging device and the display direction of the display element. Also, the display element may display the detection result by the detector.
