Title:
HEAD POSITION ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR VTR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57198532
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To freely correct the amount of skew correspondingly, by displacing a magnetic head according to the amount of skew through the provision of a support member of a magnetic head which can change a rotary magnetic head toward the scanning direction.

CONSTITUTION: Leads for piezoelectric bimorphs 25 and 26 are led to the upper part of a rotary cylinder 20 from piezoelectric bimorph lead holes 44 and 45 and connected to a slip ring 37. The slip rings 37 has brushes 38. A voltage is applied to the piezoelectric bimorphs 25 from the outside of the cylinder via the brushes 38, and the tip can be displaced toward the direction of thickness. Since this direction is coincident with the scanning direction of rotary magnetic heads 21 and 22, the compensation for the amount of skew can be made. That is, the amount of skew is measured from a reproducing signal and a voltage corresponding to the measurement is applied to the piezoelectric bimorphs 25 and 26, allowing to compensate the amount of skew.
