Abstract:
The treatment couch has a back-rest (4) and head-rest which is swivel-connected to the back-rest by a swivel arrangement (17) possessing a first linkage (24), and which is fixed in its swivel position by means of a fixture (19a). The fixture consists of a piston cylinder (34a) with two operating chambers and connected to the link-parts of the first linkage. The operating chambers are connected by a connecting pipe containing a valve opened and closed by a control.
