Abstract:
To provide a head unit having a head position adjustment mechanism which can adjust a position of a head in multiple directions and adjust an angle formed between a direction in which an ink is discharged from the head and a medium surface and an angle formed between an ink discharge ports arrangement direction and a medium transport direction.SOLUTION: A head unit includes: a head (20) having discharge ports which discharge droplets to a medium; and a holding member (211) which can rotate around a first rotation axis extending in a droplet discharge direction and rotate around a second rotation axis extending in a longitudinal direction of the head and holds the head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
