Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device for allowing a driver to immediately recognize even information which is rarely displayed.SOLUTION: Light is projected to a liquid crystal display part, and light from the liquid crystal display part is reflected on a reflection mirror, and the image of the liquid crystal display part is projected to a display member. A prism is disposed between the liquid crystal display part and the reflection mirror, and configured to refract at least partial light from the liquid crystal display part. Thus, at least partial light from the liquid crystal display part is refracted by the prism, and a position where it is projected on the display member is moved so that the image can be displayed at a position different from a normal one. Thus, even when an image which is rarely displayed is displayed, it is possible for a driver to immediately notice it, and to immediately recognize the content of display.
