Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a display to be easily viewed on either case upon wearing a polarization sunglass and non-wearing the sunglass.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a head-up display device 2 that comprises: a display device 3 that has a polarization plate 11 on a surface; and a reflection part 7 that can display an image 4 of the display device 3 forward a driving seat 5 as a virtual image 6. On a display surface of the display device 3, a phase difference plate 21 is arranged that can convert a polarization direction of emitting light from the display device 3. In this instance, shaft angle change means 32 may be provided that can change an angle of an axis 31 of the phase difference plate 21 with respect to the display device 3. The shaft angle change means 32 can change the angle of the axis 31 of the phase difference plate 21 between a non-wearing-purpose angle 34 of a polarization sunglass 33 enabling the virtual image 6 to be viewed and a wearing-purpose angle 35 thereof enabling the virtual image 6 to be viewed upon wearing the polarization sunglass 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
