To provide a header which can easily and rapidly connect a branch pipe corresponding to the direction of the branch pipe, and simplify the configuration thereof.

The header comprises a header body 10 having a branch pipe 13 formed on an outer surface thereof, and a joint member 20 connected to the branch pipe 13 of the header body 10. An elbow member 30 is extended to a base end part of the joint member 20, and the joint member 20 is connected to the branch pipe 13 via this elbow member 30. The base end part 32 of the elbow member 30 is extended in the same direction as the branch pipe 13, and a forward end part 31 is bent so as to be extended in the diagonal direction approaching the header body 10 in the direction across the base end part 32. The elbow member 30 is turnably connected to the branch pipe 13 by using a clip 40.
