To provide a headlamp giving great flexibility to optical design with its interior made hard to see to some extent without losing sense of high brightness for its internal metal, and provide a manufacturing method of a reflector in the handlamp.
This headlamp uses a concave lens 4 or a convex lens 5, and a reflector 6 or 7 for controlling light distributing pattern to a prescribed one. Because the concave lens 4 or convex lens 5 is used. The refraction of light makes the interior hard to see, to some extent, without losing sense of high brightness for internal metal. Reflection light L24 or L25 reflection-controlled by the reflector 6 or 7 can be further refraction-controlled by the concave lens 4 or convex lens 5 and applied as outgoing light L34 or L35 to the outside, and therefore great flexibility is given in optical design. The reflector 6 or 7 can be manufactured with high accuracy at high speed and with high flexibility, by using a computer to process, according to a prescribed program, a tentative set-up process as well as a slippage calculation process of a reflector 2, and a final set-up process of the reflector 6 or 7.
