Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure a good appearance quality by mounting an upper retainer in a radiator grill side part of a headlamp, and mounting a radiator grill end part on this retainer through a bumper fascia, so that a molding/building error can be absorbed.

CONSTITUTION: An upper surface part 19a of a bumper fascia 19 is mounted on an upper retainer 18 of a front bumper 12, and the end part of a radiator grill is mounted partly on this upper surface part 19a. A headlamp 11 is arranged in an opening part formed of the radiator grill, bumper fascia 19 and a front fender. In a headlamp mounting structure thus obtained, a fender side part of the headlamp 11 is mounted by the front fender reference, to also mount the upper retainer 18 on the other side part 11b of the headlamp 11, and this retainer 18 is mounted on a reinforce extended in a car laternal direction. A stop part 11a of the headlamp 11 is supported to a clip 23 on which the retainer 18 is mounted.
