Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure adequate light quantity of a running beam so as to enhance visibility at nighttime driving, when a reflector unit is vertically disposed in two stages. SOLUTION: A reflector 18A of an upper reflector unit 16A used for a passing-each-other beam and a reflector 18B of a lower reflector unit 16B used for a running beam are formed integrally, and direct rays from an light source bulb 20B of the lower reflector unit 16B are adapted to be incident on a reflection surface 18Aa of the upper reflector 18A through a space in front of a boundary part 22 between the two reflectors 18A, 18B. When the running beam is lighted, direct rays from the illuminant bulb 20B are not only reflected by a reflection surface 18Ba of the lower reflector 18B and projected forward but are also reflected by the reflection surface 18Aa of the upper reflector 18A and projected forward, whereby the light quantity of the running beam is increased.
