Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the hindrance of the sight of the driver of a vehicle coming in the opposite direction, by enabling the alternation of the angle of plural plates located in front of a headlight, depending on change-over for an upper beam or a lower beam.
CONSTITUTION: Plate lens 1 in position shown in the drawing are oriented in a direction for a lower beam. When a switch 4 for an upper beam 6 is closed, an electrical current flows through a coil 5 to attract a magnet 8 downward to orient the plate lens 1 in the direction of irradiation of the upper beam 6. To change the upper beam 6 for the lower one, similar operation is effected.
