Abstract:
A saddle type vehicle provided with a headlight stay structure which permits a harness laying operation to be carried out easily. A motorcycle (10) is provided with a headlight stay (70) which is supported on a head pipe (21) and extends toward the vehicle front side from the head pipe (21), and a headlight unit (61) attached to the headlight stay (70). The headlight stay (70) includes a first stay (71) extending forward from the head pipe (21), in side view of the vehicle, a second stay (72L) which is supported in a cantilever manner by a front portion of the first stay (71) and extends rearwardly upward. The headlight unit (61) is partly disposed on the front side of the second stay (72L) and is so disposed as to overlap with the first stay (71).
