To provide a two-eye type headlight for a vehicle emitting light from two light emission surfaces with one light source and switching main beams and low beams without a movable part.
The headlight comprises: a pair of first parabolic reflecting surfaces divided laterally below a light source having two light sources in a vertical direction; a pair of second elliptical reflecting surfaces each having a first focus near the light source and having a major axis in a direction to horizontally intersect an irradiation direction, laterally above the light source; and a pair of third reflecting surfaces each having a second focus of the elliptical reflecting surface as a focus and having the reflecting direction in an optical axis direction. Light from one light emission source is thereby divided in two lines to attain the two-eye type headlight with one light source.
