PURPOSE: To provide a holding tool for storing a headphone when a portable player is not in use.

CONSTITUTION: A headphone holding tool main body 6 is composed of an elastic material and forms a holding part composed of a recessed insertion part for holding an inner ear type ear receiver head part 3. For the holding part, the inner part is formed in a dimension a shape capable of housing the ear receiver head part 3, however, the entrance part is formed in the dimension slightly smaller than the size of the ear receiver head part 3 and the ear receiver head part 3 is surely held by elasticity when it is pushed in. The headphone holding tool main body 6 can be fixed to the main body 1 of a desired portable player by providing an appropriate adhesive layer such as a double coated tape or the like on the bottom part. A plug 5 at the tip of a headphone cord 2 is kept inserted to the portable player main body 1. Since both ends of the headphone cord 2 are fixed, the processing of the cord when it is not used is facilitated.
