Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the title headrest by which the fatigue of the head and neck is not felt and which is comfortable, is safe and is easily stowable when a rider climbs the inclination on a run-down car.
CONSTITUTION: A headrest 3 consisting of a supporting member 4 movable in vertical direction and a head pad 5 held by the supporting member 4 is independently provided at the rear part of the seat of a run-down car 1. An operation part 8 for vertically adjusting the position of the head pad 5 is provided on the car 1, at which part a rider 2 or a conductor for equipment can operate it.
