The headrest HR that can be tilted from an erected head support state to a storage state includes a pillar 1 mounted to an upper part of a seat back S2; a headrest frame 2 engaged with the pillar 1 so as to be turnable; a spring 33 that urges the headrest frame 2 to one side; a locking means 4 that hinders the turn of the headrest frame 2 with respect to the pillar 1; a remote control section R provided at a position separate from the headrest HR; and an inner cable 53 one end 53a of which is connected to the locking means 4 and the other end 53b of which is attached to the remote control section R. The locking means 4 is releasable by pulling the inner cable 53 by the operation of the remote control section R.
